Ryan Comer
Sales Associate
Ask Ryan Comer about his hometown and he can quote you the stat: Amarillo, Texas, has 721 restaurants for a population of 202,000 — one for every 281 people. That is the kind of detail he loves about home. Ryan moved to Dallas at 18 and worked his way up the service industry to become a promotion manager at a Deep Ellum bar while attending Northlake College, where he studied Psychology and Radiology Tech at the same time. He moved into sales at 30, was trained in roofing by an ex-State Farm adjuster, and spent six years there before transitioning into Multi-Family Construction for two intense, learning-rich years. After a stint selling life insurance from home, he searched for the right company — and, as he puts it, by God's grace, ended up at TC Roofing & Restorations.
Ryan's specialties are materials and functions — he can speak to what is being installed and why, in plain English. The "aha" moment for him was realizing in 2019 that the majority of construction is on-the-fly plan-making — and that mastery of that mindset is what makes a finished product look as good as it possibly can. He is proud of two career milestones in particular: completing his A-1 certification in roofing in 2013 (a company-wide standard that branded him as one of their best), and selling his first full apartment-complex rehab after training in commercial construction. With clients, he is honest and decision-first — he wants to make the call that is genuinely in their best interest.
At home, Ryan is dad-of-three to his dogs Ruby the Boxer, Chloe the Staffordshire Terrier, and Trixie the Chihuahua. Off the clock, he is working on his truck, walking the dogs at the park, or playing basketball. One of the most meaningful chapters of his life was taking care of a little boy named Alex from age two to six — teaching him English with ABCs and an iPad. Bucket-list trip: Sweden.
