As the daughter of a serial entrepreneur, Brooklin Corbins had business in her blood before she could read a balance sheet. A Dallas, Texas native, She went on to the University of Houston, where she double-majored in Public Relations and Sports Administration, then collected a small but useful stack of pre-TC roles that quietly trained her for the work she does now: how to interact with very different kinds of people, how to read a room, and how to pivot at the drop of a hat without spilling the coffee.
At TC Roofing & Restorations, Brooklin specializes in customer service, billing, collections, and problem-solving. She likes the billing side, in particular, because it scratches both the puzzle and the math brain at the same time — hunting down all the pieces and lining them up until the final number comes out clean. Her professional superpower is organization. She has noticed firsthand that when she falls behind on organization, things start to slip; the inverse is also true, and she runs her work around that observation. Her mentor line is concise and very her: "Life is a game, play with the cards you're dealt." She approaches every client interaction with the same intent — to be extremely detailed and make sure they receive everything they need in a timely manner. Her proudest project to date was putting together and launching a rideshare app and planning the launch party, an end-to-end build that combined every skill she had developed up to that point.
Home for Brooklin is her dog, HumperDink. Outside of work, she reads, crafts, and spends as much time as she can with friends and family. Her five-year travel goal: crossing three new countries off the list.
